Designs for the long-awaited Banwell bypass have now been drawn up and you’ve got another chance to have your say.

The route for the bypass was decided last year after a public consultation and there is now another opportunity to give your feedback.

This second consultation asks about the design of the bypass as well as proposed changes and enhancements to surrounding roads and villages.

The consultation is open until Friday 22 April.

Find out more and read supporting booklets on our website.

Drop-in information sessions are also being held if you want to talk to an officer face-face.

Sessions are open to all on:

  • Thursday 24 March, 3pm to 7pm, at Churchill Methodist Church (in conjunction with the Local Plan consultation)
  • Tuesday 29 March, 3pm to 7pm at St James Church Hill, Winscombe (in conjunction with the Local Plan consultation)
  • Tuesday 5 April, 3pm to 7pm at Sandford Village Hall

Responses to the consultation will help us further review the design of the scheme before it is finalised, ready to be submitted to planning later in the year.

Your feedback so far has played a vital role in shaping and focussing the designs and every response is important, ensuring a scheme that works for our residents now and in the future.
