Story pods ignite children's imagination

Stories are being brought to life to motivate and inspire pre-school children thanks to a successful not-for-profit organisation based in North Somerset.

World of Stuff and Story, based in Weston-super-Mare, builds and loans out ‘story pods’, boxes of reclaimed materials and open-ended resources which can be used to spark a conversation and develop a child’s creative and critical thinking.

The successful project is going from strength to strength and its resources have grown over the last year.

World of Stuff is now looking for new members to join for the next academic year, from September to July 2023.

Anyone who works in an early years’ setting, whether as a home educator, childminder or in a nursery, is welcome to join for a small fee.
