The work will start on Monday 29 September and be completed over 15 nights from the Sheepway roundabout to the M5 junction 19 interchange roundabout.
The works will include:
- Carriageway resurfacing
- Repairing and replacing damaged ironworks
- Upgrading highway drainage
- Refreshing road markings and signage
- Clearing overgrown vegetation.
This project is vital to maintain the integrity of the road and improve safety.
The work will be completed along the entire length of the Portbury Hundreds between 9pm and 5am each day. A full road closure will be in place. Traffic marshalls will help with access arrangements for residents.
A fully signposted diversion will be in place while the road is closed.
These works are an investment in the future of our road network, ensuring safer journeys and a more resilient road infrastructure for North Somerset.
