Christmas lights
Visit the Italian Gardens in Weston super Mare on Saturday 15 November. Festive music and performances from 1pm and the lights switch on at 5pm.
The Clevedon Community Lights Group, Clevedon Live Music, Clevedon Town Council and Clevedon BID are coming together to create a spectacular Christmas evening in the Town Centre on Friday 21 November. Festive Music by Just3Harmony begins at 5.30 pm, leading up to the grand switch on at 6 pm.
Join the festivities at the High Street, Portishead on Monday 24 November. The big switch on takes place at 5.40pm.
Enjoy the mesmerising Clevedon Pier Light Switch on Friday 5 December from 5 pm. Free entry for everyone.
Nailsea Town Council is excited to be planning the Christmas Tree Light Up. Visit the town centre for an evening of festive cheer from 5.15pm, on Friday 5 December. The wonderful Barn Owls – Nailsea’s own dementia choir – will start the celebrations with traditional Christmas carols. At 6pm, the Christmas Tree Light Up ceremony takes place, followed by the dazzling Christmas Vee Dubs parade along the High Street from 6.10pm.
Light up the Lake, the annual Light Up of Clevedon's Marine Lake is back this year bigger and brighter than ever before on Saturday, 6 December. The festivities begin at Clevedon Pier at 4pm. Then at 4.20pm a Samba Band will lead the procession along the seafront to Marine Lake for the main event with a fire dancer, illuminated boats and a 5.30pm performance by the Rock Choir.
Festive events
Sip and shop at Worle Village School on Friday 21 November 2025 from 7pm until 9pm. Enjoy a festive evening of shopping, sipping and supporting local makers. From handmade jewellery and crochet creations to sweet treats and stocking fillers – there's something for everyone.
eat: Weston Food Festival Christmas Edition returns on Saturday, November 29. The event will feature around 100 food and drink stall holders outside in the Italian Gardens from 10am until 4pm.
The Weston Hospice Christmas Fayre will be happening on Sunday 30 November at The Winter Gardens from 10.30am to 3pm with free entry. Find your Christmas favourites at over 50 stalls of local arts, crafts, jewellery and homemade bakes – there's something for everyone.
Pick up tasty treats at the first eat:Nailsea Christmas Festival on Saturday 6 December at the High Street and Crown Glass shopping centre from 10am to 4pm.
Clevedon Winter Market, organised by The Sunday Market team, will be held on Sunday 7 December from 10am. Explore a variety of handpicked local gifts, food, drinks, and homewares, perfect for the festive season.
The Playhouse in-house panto is back in Weston for 2025 with the magical fairy tale, Cinderella, starring Gareth Gates as Prince Charming. Performances from Friday 6 December. Enjoy the rags to riches tale of Cinderella, a sparkling family pantomime suitable for all ages. Visit the Playhouse website for more information.
