There are more ways to get the most out of summer before the children head back to school next month.

  • A new sporting event is kicking off on Weston-super-Mare’s beach today (Friday) until Sunday. Weston Beach Rugby Fest is a tag rugby tournament with teams for men, women and children.
  • Pick up a tasty treat at eat:Portishead tomorrow (Saturday). More than 80 regional food and drink producers will be selling their wares from 10am-4pm around the Marina.
  • Enjoy live comedy and music at the Tropicana in Weston-super-Mare this summer. Before attending any event there, you’ll be asked to show proof of your COVID vaccine passport via the NHS app or a negative lateral flow test (taken 24 hours before). Vaccine cards will not be accepted.
