The quickest and easiest way of accessing council services is to go online but we realise some people aren’t able to do this.
Since the pandemic started, our Town Hall reception has been open on an appointment-only basis and during this time most people have been helped over the phone without the need to travel into Weston.
However, to help people who can’t access services online or on the phone, we’re trialling a new scheme where our officers are visiting libraries across the area to speak to people in person.
Drop-in sessions, which started this week, are being held on:
- Mondays, 10am-2pm at the Heathy Living Centre library, Weston-super-Mare
- Tuesdays, 10am-2pm, at Nailsea Library
- Fridays, 10am-2pm, at Portishead Library.
This is a limited service for people who can’t access council services online or by phone, and people will be seen on a first-come, first served basis.
If the officer doesn’t have an immediate answer to the enquiry, an appointment could be made for a later date or a call back arranged.
