Weston was named a winner in the Business Environment category in the Let’s Celebrate Towns awards, a competition run by Visa and supported by the British Retail Consortium.
The awards aim to shine a spotlight on towns across the UK which are building vibrant business networks and supporting local businesses to grow and thrive.
Weston was one of eight winners announced at a ceremony in the House of Lords last week.
Each town will now receive a £15k prize to put towards a community project, as well as access to help and support for local businesses.
Lots of initiatives already run locally, including free support for those looking to start a businesses, wanting to up-scale, or find new and modern workspaces.
