Activities have been taking place across North Somerset this week as part of Great Big Green Week, a national initiative by the Climate Coalition to celebrate community action in tackling climate change.
Local events continue this weekend and there is still a chance to get involved.
Tomorrow (Saturday) you could hear wildlife presenter Chris Sperring MBE talk at Hub Zero, in the Sovereign, in Weston-super-Mare; watch a film, Smog of Sea in Weston-super-Mare; or visit the Great Big Green Week stall at Yatton Carnival.
On Sunday (18 June) you could take part in community freecycle events in Clevedon or Yatton, by leaving pre-loved items at the end of your drive or by your gate for people to pick up.
On Monday, the Great Big Green Week will have officially finished but you could head down to the weekly re-use café in Clevedon, for good quality clothes, shoes, books, toys and more.

Could you pass on your composting skills?
People who are passionate about sustainability are needed to help promote home composting in their community.
We’re looking for more people to become master composters, part of a group of volunteers who help educate others about the importance of composting.
These volunteers help spread the word by holding stalls, giving talks and providing workshops on the art of composting at home.
If you join the team you’ll be playing a vital role in reducing waste, preserving resources, and promoting sustainable living.
Whether you're already a composting expert or simply enthusiastic about the subject, this is the perfect platform to share your expertise with others.
The next training day is Monday 26 June at Yeo Valley Organic Garden.
Booking is essential but the deadline for signing up is Sunday (18 June).
Email Kate at keastment@gardenorganic.org.uk to secure your spot.
