Time is running out for community groups in North Somerset to access a pot of funding for their projects.

Voluntary, community and social enterprise groups, and town and parish councils in North Somerset have until Monday 12 February to apply for a portion of £183,000.

This money is the second round of funding through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) Community Grants scheme.

The aim is to support projects that address community needs and create lasting impact, focussing on inclusivity, innovation, and sustainability.

Each application can request between £3,000 and £20,000 to invest in projects that will build local pride and belonging, increase life chances, and build resilient and safe neighbourhoods.

The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is a central pillar of the UK government’s Levelling Up agenda and provides £2.6bn of funding for local investment by March 2025.
