As temperatures drop, help is available to anyone struggling to manage bills, pay off debt, or keep their home warm. 

WHAM (Warmer Homes, Advice and Money) offers practical support and advice for anyone in difficulty. It’s not just for older residents, either – it’s open to families or individuals too.  

 How can WHAM help?  

The scheme provides:

  • Guidance on managing energy, your bills and reducing costs 
  • Small energy-saving measures, like draft-proofing
  • Support with debt and budgeting
  • Help with heating repairs and upgrades
  • Access to a caseworker for tailored advice. 

WHAM has supported over 1,800 households in North Somerset, delivering help worth more than £1.1 million since 2019.
