Whether you want to get crafty, enjoy a family day out or spot some classic vehicles, there’s plenty going on in North Somerset this spring…

 

  • Easter is being celebrated at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm in Wraxall with an egg-citing Easter Egg Trail around the Zoo featuring its amazing animals. The trail is no on until Monday 25 April.
  • Get crafty during various events at Weston Museum this Easter. Choose from a bath bomb making workshop tomorrow (Friday), a craft café and past designs workshop on Tuesday 19 April, a sand art eggstravaganza on Wednesday 20 April, and printmaking workshops on Friday 22 April.
  • Cars, motorbikes, tractors, buses and military vehicles are all expected to be on show when the popular Pageant of Transport returns to the Beach Lawns in Weston on Saturday (16 April) and Sunday (17 April). All proceeds to Weston-super-Mare Sea Cadets.
  • A popular vintage car rally returns this year to Clevedon. The Brimer Car Rally, run by Clevedon Lions, travels around the area on Sunday 24 April before finishing at Salthouse Fields, where there will be food, drinks and crafts.
  • Share your stories or just sit back and listen to tales of queer life in Weston-super-Mare. Writer and performer Tom Marsham is hosting Tom’s Tea Party at Proud Bar, Boulevard, from 7pm on Tuesday 26 April. Building on the Pride Manifesto for Weston, the event will further amplify LGBTQ+ voices in the local community.
  • Historic comedy performers Living Spit are back with original music, silly songs, hysterical horseplay. Elizabeth I – Virgin on the Ridiculous brings to life the year 1558, with the divided by religion and politics, teetering on the brink of civil war. See the show at the Blakehay Theatre, in Wadham Street, Weston-super-Mare, from Tuesday 26 to Thursday 28 April.
  • Do you love dogs? Weston Rotary Club is hosting its popular Dog Day on Saturday 7 May, on the Beach Lawns in Weston-super-Mare. The charity event is a fun day out for dogs and their families.
  • Enjoy music, craft drinks and street food at the next Clevedon Twilight Market, from 5-10pm on Saturday 14 May.
