Three colourful designs have launched to encourage people to sign up to the transport initiative, which gives free bus travel across North Somerset and the West of England region throughout the whole month of your birthday.
The greetings cards featuring creations by artists Tanith Gould Makes, Nick Roberts and Jayde Perkin, who also took part in this year’s Weston Wallz street art festival, can be picked up for free at libraries across North Somerset.
Everyone can now sign up to get a Birthday Bus Pass and enjoy unlimited free bus travel during their birthday month.
Other freebies and discounts are also available this year from businesses across the region.
Relax with a free hand massage or sound bath, save money on a tasty lunch, or enjoy free coffee and cake.
Register online now to receive your card in plenty of time to use it in your birthday month.
If you signed up last year, you should have received an email to be automatically fast-tracked this time. Just click on the link in the email to re-apply.
Journeys can be planned in advance on the TravelWest website.
Birthday Bus is funded by the Department for Transport through the Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP).
This plan aims to create a well-connected, efficient bus network that meets the needs of communities today and in the future, ensuring bus services are sustainable for years to come.
