Help fly the flag for freedom, equality and love while enjoying a host of entertainment online.

June is Pride month, when people across the world show their support for the LGBTQ+ community – coming together in celebration, protest, unity and solidarity.

Pride is about fighting for the freedom, equity and potential of every LGBTQ+ person, and being proud of yourself no matter who you love.

It is usually celebrated with parades and marches but, with social distancing still in place, events will continue online this year.

Weston-super-Mare Pride is hosting a live streamed extravaganza from noon on Saturday 3 July.

The free event will be streamed on the group’s Facebook page.

Merchandise, bunting and flags can also be purchased through the online shop.

You can also get in touch with the team by email on hello@wsmpride.com

North Somerset LGBT+ Forum is a local charity formed to support members of the LGBT+ community, their friends and family. Find out more on its website.

Weston-super-Mare had been chosen to host the national Pride event in 2021. However, this has now been postponed until 2023.
