Our popular solar panel buying scheme has returned to help North Somerset residents generate clean, local, renewable energy to power their homes.
The innovative Solar Together scheme uses the collective bargaining power of many local households to purchase high quality solar photovoltaic (PV) panels, batteries and EV home charging points – and their installation – at a very competitive price.
Last year nearly 2,600 solar panels were installed through the scheme at properties across North Somerset.
Previous customers rate the hassle-free process, trustworthy pre-approved contractors, high quality panels and installation, and the more affordable price than buying directly from an installer.
Residents, small businesses and community groups can all register.
We’re working with the West of England Combined Authority and independent group-buying collective iChoosr to offer the scheme to North Somerset residents for the third time.
We’re committed to making North Somerset a thriving and sustainable place to live by tackling the climate emergency. Improving access to renewable energy is a key part of this.
The more people that participate, the better the price we can secure, and more renewable energy will be generated.
If you already have solar panels, you can register to have battery storage added to your existing set-up or to have an electric vehicle (EV) home charge point installed.
Registration is free, with no obligation to buy. Find out more on our website or call 0800 014 8851.
