Are you on the electoral register?

Households across North Somerset will soon be contacted as part of a regular review to make sure the electoral register is as accurate as possible.

Between August and November each year, we’re required by law to contact all residential properties in the area to check who’s eligible to register to vote.

You’ll soon be getting an email or letter from us to check we’ve got the correct information, a process is called the ‘annual canvass'.

All you need to do is follow the instructions in the email or letter. Please read it carefully as you may need to respond.

If something needs changing on the form, it’s quick and easy to do it online, by phone or text message.

Emails have now started to go out, so look out for one from electoral.services@n-somerset.gov.uk

Letters will start going out in the post towards the end of August.
