Anyone who lives in a property within council tax bands A to D is eligible for free loft or cavity wall insultation, thanks to a new programme we’re offering.
We’re working with the National Grid to support the Connected for Warmth programme, which is also funding other energy-saving measures such as smart heating controls and low energy light bulbs.
Together these improvements could save you hundreds of pounds a year on your energy bills, as well as reducing carbon emissions.

The funding is coming from the National Grid, the utility company which manages the distribution of energy across the country, and it has made £50m available for initiatives which support households through the cost-of-living crisis.
Connected for Warmth is an excellent opportunity for local people to access fully-funded home insulation and other free energy saving measures, which will improve energy efficiency and be a vital step in our journey to becoming net zero by 2030.
