Tributes continue to be paid to His Royal Highness Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, following his death earlier this month.

The funeral took place at Windsor Castle on Saturday, following the duke’s death on 9 April.

As a mark of respect, the Union flag was flown at half-mast at both the Town Hall in Weston-super-Mare and our Castlewood offices in Clevedon throughout the period of national mourning.

You can find out more about his life, as well as The Queen and other members of the Royal Family, by visiting the Royal Family website.

The website also has links to Flickr and Instagram posts for historic photographs of the Royal Family.

A selection of photographs from the duke’s funeral can be seen on the BBC website.
